Place St. Charles

Place St. Charles is a 1,000,000 square foot office building with  a 50,000 square foot retail galleria and parking garage in the heart of the financial district of New Orleans, LA.  The design of the 2-story base of the building housing employs the design vernacular of the French Quarter with its surrounding arcade with iron railing and columns. At the top of the building are two 3-story lanterns that glow at night

As the construction of the foundation was just getting underway, Mr. Brubaker joined Fidinam (USA), the project developer, with responsibility for Place St. Charles.  Fidinam is a multi-national company which at that time owned approximately $1 billion of real estate in North America.  He was the chief employee of the New Orleans office, for which he hired a construction manager, marketing manager and financial manager, and he supervised those and several other employees of Fidinam (USA) until construction was complete.  He was deeply involved with construction oversight and marketing of the project to prospective lessees throughout that period.
